Lviv National Guardsmen won the Judo Championship
The Ukrainian Judo Championship among adults was held in Kyiv, in which the servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine Stanislav Semkov and Yevgeny Balievsky took part. Both athletes took prize places in their categories — Stanislav took second place in the 66 kg weight category, and Evgeny won the third place in the 100+ kg category.
Since childhood, the National Guards were engaged in martial arts sections and are the owners of black belts. Today, Stanislav is a master of sports not only in judo, but also in sambo, and Yevgeny has become a master of sport of international class in judo. However, despite a brilliant sports career, the guys decided to defend the Motherland and in 2020 they joined the ranks of Ukrainian defenders.
The winners of the championship say that they dedicated sports success to those who daily bring our victory closer and do everything to drive the enemy out of our land.
