Fury towards the enemy and love for Ukraine: brother and sister seek to serve in the special unit of the police “Fury”
In Transcarpathia, active recruitment to the combined assault brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Fury” continues. Among those going through the selection stages are an 18-year-old girl and her sibling. They are determined to join the unit, further training and strong resistance to the Russian occupier, like their older brother is a soldier of the Armed Forces.
The brother and sister have already successfully passed the selection stages: testing, interview, passed physical training standards, passed the military-medical commission. Now they are waiting for the final decision of the police commission.
A boy and a girl say that they have long had a desire to join the ranks of the Defenders. But due to the fact that their elder brother is already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they — as members of the same family — were not able to realize their goal and join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Therefore, the special unit “Fury” became for Daria and Paul a kind of ticket, a way to join those who stand guard for the protection of the people and the state.
“Our eldest brother is an example for us, a patriot of Ukraine, a real Hero, whom we want to be like. We look at his fearlessness — and all fear disappears. The “Fury” brigade is an opportunity to prove their loyalty to the people, to the country,” the brother and sister admit.
