“So, by joining forces with civil society, in 2023 we implemented the flagship project “Driving schools for people with disabilities”, - the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized.
It is about social adaptation and equal opportunities for all who have musculoskeletal disorders.
“Now we already have 7 such driving schools, one of which was opened yesterday in Krivoy Rog. For almost half a year of work, we see concrete results: 22 people received a driver's license of category “B”, and a total of 83 people started training,” the Minister said.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs does not stop. And within the framework of the project, a pilot training of drivers of category C1 vehicles began.
“We plan to expand the network of our driving schools, because we are creating not just a safe country, but a state with affordable and comfortable services for all people. It will continue,” Igor Klymenko summed up in his Telegram channel.
