Elimination of large-scale forest fires and emergency situations as a result of flooding: Ukrainian rescuers go to Poland for training (VIDEO)
Large-scale international training on response to radiation, chemical, biological, nuclear threats and EU MODEX NEW WAVE POLAND 2023 training in the Republic of Poland are being launched almost simultaneously.
The first training this week will take place in the city of Ostrov-Mazowiecka. Here, the teams will work on the elimination of a large-scale forest fire that will threaten radioactive emissions from the waste storage. Other trainings will also be held this week in the city of Novyi Dvor-Mazowiecki. They are connected with the elimination of the consequences of the emergency as a result of the flood.
Two Ukrainian teams of rescuers and special equipment of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine immediately went to Poland for training.
Participation in such training provides an opportunity to improve skills and skills when responding to such threats and involves sharing experiences.
