Leonid Tymchenko: More than 30 thousand vehicles have been re-registered through “Dia”, and more than 5,5 thousand license plates have been ordered and delivered by mail
One of the most popular car re-registration services through Dia was used by more than 60 thousand people. So, for more than 30 thousand vehicles, the owner has been changed, and more than 5.5 thousand license plates have been ordered and delivered by mail.
Also, the Deputy Minister informed that in 2023, Ukrainians exchanged 188,276 driver's licenses through Dia. Of these, 14,874 with delivery through Ukrposhta, 173 402 - with receipt at the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Citizens have the opportunity to receive a driver's license delivery service both in the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and online,” said Leonid Tymchenko. “Since May 2023, the exchange of a driver's license has become available in the application “Diia”. Initially, citizens had the opportunity to pick up the finished document at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Subsequently, this service was expanded — drivers were given the opportunity to order a driver's license at any convenient branch of Ukrposhta on the territory of Ukraine”.
In addition, 55,883 driver's licenses were exchanged through the Electronic Driver's Cabinet. Of these, 30 267 - with delivery of Ukrposhta on the territory of Ukraine and 25 616 - with receipt at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Delivery of driver's licenses abroad was ordered by 5600 people. This service has been available since October 2023. And now it can be done from 27 countries of the world. The majority are European countries,” the official said.
He noted that this list of countries definitely does not include the aggressor state Russia and its ally Belarus.
