Smuggling of almost 11 million and 47 evaders: how the day of border guards passed (VIDEO)
Border guards of the Odessa region found in Izmail a large batch of excisable goods.
As a result of the searches, law enforcement officers found more than 2 thousand 273 liters of alcohol, 672 liters of brandy, 25 thousand 886 liters of wine product, more than 10.7 thousand packs of cigarettes in assortment and 212 electronic cigarettes without excise tax stamps, 330 packs of tobacco for hookah, 360 bottles of liquid for smoking, 170 bottles of food additives, 171 pack of dry flavor.
In addition, almost 600 forms of consignment notes with stamps, cash in the amount of 2.5 thousand euros and more than 21 thousand dollars were found.
Goods and cash were seized by border guards. The total cost is almost 11 million hryvnias.
Meanwhile, the border guards of the Chernivtsi detachment detained more than ten violators who tried to bypass the checkpoints.
Five residents of Chernivtsi region and one resident of Donetsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Poltava and Ternopil regions. All were detained near the border with Romania.
Another violator from Vinnytsia region was detained at the border with Moldova. Protocols on administrative offenses have been drawn up for all. Cases are sent to court.
In total, on September 28, 80 thousand people and 19 thousand vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova (in the Chernivtsi region).
45 thousand people left Ukraine. 29 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
To Ukraine were followed - 35 thousand people, 31 thousand of them - citizens of Ukraine.
47 people were detained for attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine. In addition, 4 men, citizens of Ukraine, were not allowed to leave the country, as border guards found signs of falsification of their documents. In the actions of men there are signs of offenses provided for by articles 336 and 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
