The commander of the National Guard met in Slavutich with the families of prisoners of war
The commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Brigadier General Alexander Pivnenko met with the families of captured National Guards of military unit 3041.
Together with representatives of local authorities, problematic issues, issues of social protection and psychological assistance to families, as well as those who have been able to be returned so far, were discussed.
During the meeting, the commander of the National Guard Alexander Pivnenko spoke in detail about the ongoing work that is underway to release prisoners of war from Russian captivity.
“I thank my family for the steadfastness, the strength of will and the faith with which they await the return of their sons and husbands. The efforts of the state leadership, all competent bodies, the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the NGU are aimed at the return of all our defenders: Chernobyl, Azovstal, fighters who were captured performing tasks in the eastern and southern directions,” the commander of the National Guard wrote in his Telegram channel.
