The commander of the National Guard met with the commander of the European Gendarmerie Force (EUROGENDFOR) Colonel Hans Wrog
The main topic of discussion was the issue of cooperation with related structures within the framework of EUROGENDFOR activities. In turn, the commander thanked for his support and desire to develop cooperation with the National Guard.
He also informed the delegation participants about existing projects with related structures in the direction of law enforcement activities and stabilization actions in the context of tasks performed by the National Guard, in particular during wartime.
“For the National Guard of Ukraine, the development of effective cooperation with the countries of the European Union and with EUROGENDFOR, in particular, is quite important. Holding joint exercises, attracting instructors, exchanging experience both in Ukraine and abroad will help strengthen not only our national security, but also contribute to improving the response to security threats at the international level,” said Oleksandr Pivnenko.
According to Colonel Vrog, the units of the National Guard of Ukraine have current experience, which can also be studied in the course of joint activities, as well as its application in accordance with European norms and practices.
