The commander of the National Guard visited the units that hold the defense on the eastern borders
During his trip to the eastern regions of our country, Oleksandr Pivnenko talked with commanders of various units and listened to reports on the state and position of the forces of the National Guard units and about the units and tactics of the enemy.
“I would like to note that our commanders and fighters have considerable experience in planning and managing combat, using modern means to improve the effectiveness of interaction and the performance of combat tasks,” he said.
Also, the commander of the NGU presented honors and awards to the servicemen of the 1st Presidential Brigade of Operational Assignment named after Hetman Petro Doroshenko “Bureva”, the 12th Brigade of Operational Assignment named after Dmitry Vishnevetsky, the 32nd Regiment and special officers.
The soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine are steadfastly holding their positions despite numerous shelling and assault attempts.
