In an interview with the Rada TV channel, the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Yuriy Lebid, spoke about the formation and training of the “Guard of Offensive” brigades, the tasks of the National Guard and the de-occupation of Ukraine.

He stressed that we all have one goal — the liberation of our territories to the borders of 1991.

Yuriy Lebid noted that the “Guard of Offensive” are modern units built on the principle of NATO countries, which are constantly developing and moving forward. He also said that the “Guard of the Offensive” has full equality between men and women, currently more than 500 applications from women. Yuriy Lebid now considers the work of enemy propaganda that

society and the country are tired of war and that compromises must be sought. But this is not so. The country and society are not tired. “Society knows what it wants. It wants to live in a peaceful, free country, in those territories within 1991. And it will be,” said the commander of the National Guard.

Yuriy Lebid believes that the greatest achievement of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine is that we withstood the first times and days of the war, and today we are inflicting improper losses

on the invaders. According to the commander of the National Guard, when it will be held occupation of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, it will be necessary to carry out a stabilization operation, solve two tasks — the creation of a security belt along the borders, which will be solved by political, military and administrative-legal ways, and providing security to our citizens. “This is the restoration of the state of Ukraine and Ukrainian life on Ukrainian territory, giving people the opportunity to exercise their rights,” Yuriy Lebid believes.
