The commander of the brigade “Fury” Alexander Netrebko: “The offensive guard should help the Armed Forces to destroy all the invaders”
Oleksandr Netrebko, Head of the Department of Special Purpose Police of the Joint Assault Brigade “Fury”, in an interview, spoke about the mission of the assault brigades of the “Guard of Offensive”.
The brigade commander shares that no one thought there would be such an offensive. On February 23, everyone said that maybe something would happen, but no one expected that the movement would be so powerful that missiles would bomb cities, that long columns of equipment would go to Ukraine. However, Ukrainian forces were able to skillfully repel the enemy on the approaches to Kiev.
“If we compare the model of the Armed Forces of 2013 and 2022, these are qualitatively different Armed Forces. They thought: when their columns leave, we will flee. But we could say that all of these columns burned down. It is necessary to be complete idiots for the column to go on the offensive, and in the column there were also self-propelled artillery installations, logistics warehouses. The SAU must be in the rear and fire at the specified targets. And they went in columns. They thought that we were leaking — but that was not the case,” says Oleksandr Netrebko in an interview with Censor.net journalist.
However, the struggle continues and Ukraine will continue to de-buy its own territories. Actually, this is the most important mission of the assault brigades of the “Guard of Offensive”.
“They still have thoughts of taking over Ukraine, because they consider themselves gods, kings... We have already destroyed a lot of personnel from every Russian combat unit. And they are also now going on the offensive to take revenge for theirs. But for this, I believe, we need a “Guard of Offensive”, so that we help the Armed Forces to destroy everyone completely, so that they do not have any more thoughts about attacking us at all. If only the Armed Forces fight, it will be difficult for them. Therefore, I am sure: we need an “offensive guard”, so that everyone who can fight can take up arms, and we will finally finish everything,” emphasizes the head of the special police department of the joint assault brigade “Fury”.
Alexander Netrebko shares from his own experience that in fact no one is ready for the first fight. The main thing is motivation, fighting spirit. So that when you heard the sound of the bullet, you did not run away, but went forward and destroyed everyone:
“We interview everyone and say: we will not be in the rear — we will all go on the offensive. An attack is a melee with bullets flying overhead. We ask everyone if they are ready for this. But before the people go into battle, we will conduct individual training with each one, coordinate the battalion, and only then - the battle. It's not like we go to the front line and east we go on the attack. First, we must clarify the situation, how, where and where, what routes should we take, where the enemy is, where their weapons are - to destroy them, and then go on the offensive.”
