Ukrainian cyberpolice team is among the top five leaders at NATO TIDE Hackathon 2023
Annual programming competitions were held in Warsaw under the auspices of the North Atlantic Alliance. The jury noted the decision of Ukrainian police officers to develop the concept of visual navigation of a small unmanned aerial vehicle as one of the best.
32 teams took part in the hackathon — representatives of government bodies and the private sector of NATO member countries and Ukraine.
Among the topics proposed for solving cyber police chose “Creation of a concept and tool for studying disinformation” and “Development of the concept of visual navigation of a small unmanned aerial vehicle”.
Based on the results of solving the tasks, law enforcement officers developed two conceptual descriptions of solutions and one working prototype of the software.
The achievements of the cyber police team were presented to the jury and included in the top five solutions in the development of the concept of visual navigation of a small unmanned aerial vehicle.
During the participation in the event, the cyber police have improved their knowledge and skills, the experience gained will be useful for building new software solutions, in particular for counteracting disinformation and investigating cybercrimes.
