Collaborator in Kyiv region and counterbandists on the border of Ukraine: the situation over the past weekend

While checking the smartphone of a native of Konstantinovka, border guards found subscriber numbers of Russian operators, information of a pro-Russian nature, a bank card of the Russian Federation, to which funds and cash in rubles were periodically received.

The border outfit of the “Peasant” department noticed the movement of several men with large packages towards the state border. At the scene, border guards found 5000 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps of Ukraine. The goods, valued at almost 225 thousand hryvnias, were transferred to representatives of the Bureau of Economic Security. In Shegini, a minibus driver tried to move a batch of electronic cigarettes across the border. A batch of electronic cigarettes, which they tried to illegally import into Ukraine, was discovered by border guards together with customs officers at the Ukrainian-Polish border.
The minibus was stopped for inspection at the Shegini checkpoint. The 29-year-old driver was driving along the “red corridor” lane. During the inspection of the car, the inspectors found that in addition to passengers and their personal belongings, a native of Lviv region tried to illegally move the goods.
During the inspection of the baggage office, the border outfit, together with operational officers and customs officers, found electronic cigarettes in the amount of 2000 pieces. A protocol was drawn up on this fact. At market prices, the estimated value of the withdrawn goods is 800 thousand hryvnias.
In total, on September 17, 92 thousand people and 20 thousand vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova (in the Chernivtsi region).
