Dog biologist Oksana and her partner Mika will soon go to protect the state border of Ukraine
“If there is a true friendship, it is a friendship between a man and a dog,” Oksana Kolyshak, a border guard, is sure.
The girl has been engaged in canology for more than three years, says that for her this is a matter of life.
“I dreamed of doing canology since childhood, so I became a border guard in order to fulfill my dream. I have not met the most loyal animals than dogs. They are definitely best friends. An example of this is my Mika, a spaniel breed, who became a real friend and assistant in the service for me,” the dog biologist shared.
In the border service, spaniels have excellently established themselves as specialists in the search for weapons and drugs, because they are representatives of hunting breeds, therefore they have a keen sense of smell and an innate tendency to search.
These cute and playful dogs combine intelligence and special obedience, so beginners will be able to train as well. And they are friendly, gentle, have a cheerful disposition and are easily used in the family, so they will become good companions and loyal friends.
Together with Mika, the dog biologist will master the course on the search for drugs and very soon the faithful friends will go to the border, where together they will guard the western borders of our state.
