Dog biologist Julia and her partner Ollo master the skills of searching for narcotic substances
Border guard Julia Skorokhod and her faithful four-legged friend, the Springer Spaniel Ollo, are studying on a drug search course.
English spaniels are born hunters who have long been used in hunting, and now they help border guards hunt contraband.
“For me, spaniels are the best among service dogs. They are small in size, but not inferior in work to large dogs. Ollo is extremely agile, friendly, has good working qualities and most importantly a keen sense of smell, so she will be a great partner in the service and a loyal friend for me,” says the dog nutritionist.
With the completion of their training, the girls will continue to serve on the border, now they are a team and they have one task for two - the protection of the state borders of Ukraine.
