Kennel couples receive awards for weapons, ammunition and drugs found
The cynologists of the 5th Slobozhanska Brigade told about what dangerous and potentially dangerous “toys” were tried to illegally carry by persons who crossed checkpoints at the entrances and exits of Kharkov.
During the year, it was at these checkpoints in cars that dog handlers and service dogs found:
• 17 units of firearms, in particular Kalashnikov assault rifles and Makarov pistols; • 24,086 rounds of various calibers for firearms; • 111 grenades of various types and modifications; • 82 universal incensed grenades; • 6 units of VOG-17 — 30 mm grenade launchers;
• 2 units of 30 mm jet lightening cartridges; • almost 5.5 kg of
tulle; • 4 manual anti-tank shells
grenade launchers of various types;
• 14 detonators of different types; • the barrel of a 658 mm Kalashnikov machine gun modernized;
• 0.6 kg of gunpowder; • 2 shells of mines; • 2 bayonet-knives;
• more than 1 kg of narcotic drugs and more than 300 tablets
prohibited for free sale of narcotic drugs.
On the eve of the New Year, 7 service dogs of the 5th Slobozhanska Brigade by order of the Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine were awarded medals “For Dedicated Service”.
Veta and Otti were awarded the Service Dog Medal “For Dedicated Service” Grade 3. Eric, Amoreka, Delta, Juki were awarded the Medal “For Dedicated Service” of the 2nd degree.
Antey received a medal for service dogs “For Dedicated Service” of the 1st degree. Also, the canines of the 5th Slobozhanska Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine were awarded certificates and thanks to the chief of the Eastern Territorial Department of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The award ceremony took place in the center of Kharkiv. On the occasion of the award, our regular partners and friends — the trade mark “Nature” and the company “Constellation” gave our furry brothers dry food, collars, leashes, vitamins, warm sunbeds and toys for training.
