Dog scientists of border guards and customs officers held joint training on weapons detection
In Kyiv region, special training was held on the preparation, use and search of drugs, weapons and ammunition by service dogs for servicemen of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
In total, more than 10 border dog handlers took part in the meeting along with service dogs. Such trainings are conducted annually to improve the skills and skills of service dogs and for the exchange of experience.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, border service dogs in the Kiev region alone have detected narcotic substances, psychotropics, weapons and ammunition in 107 cases.
Border guards in the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to perform tasks and ensure the defense of the country and the safety of citizens.
