The number of people who purchased weapons for the first time did not increase, — Oleksandr Facevych
This was reported by the Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine Oleksandr Facevych today, February 17, during a briefing in “Ukrinform”.
Oleksandr Fatsevich said that the police carries out careful control over the circulation of weapons, including hunting weapons, constantly checks the conditions of its storage to prevent cases of misuse and handling.
At the same time, Alexander Facevich noted: information that people began to buy more weapons does not correspond to reality:
“The number of people buying weapons for the first time has not increased. More often, weapons are bought by people who already have permission to purchase and store it,” he said.
Also, the deputy head of the National Police told about the mechanism for obtaining permission to purchase and store hunting weapons.
