Cyberpolice expose employee of online drug store who hid “bookmarks” in acorns
During the search in the home of the intruder, drugs worth more than 2 million hryvnias were found. The defendant is detained. Currently, the police are identifying the organizers of illegal activities.
The 46-year-old man, previously convicted of drug trafficking, was exposed by the officers of the anti-cybercrime department in the Kiev region together with investigators of the Darnytsky Police Department of the capital.
Cyberpolice during the monitoring of the Internet network discovered a website where the trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs was carried out. Specifically, cocaine, amphetamine, MDMA, ecstasy, etc. were offered. Payment for drugs was accepted on a crypto wallet.
In the process of operational measures, law enforcement officers established an intruder who was responsible for the supply of goods to customers. He sent about 20 mailings a week and also created so-called “bookmarks”. Camouflaged the product in produce or in acorns.
In the house of the suspect, the police conducted an urgent search and seized narcotic substances, the value of which, according to the prices of the “black market”, reaches 2 million hryvnias. The offender was detained in accordance with Art.
208 Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine.
Investigators of the Darnitsky Police Department informed the defendant about the suspicion in accordance with Part 2 of Art. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code.
