Cybersecurity of children: juvenile police officers teach prudence on the Internet
Law enforcement officers systematically teach children about personal cybersecurity, because this is one of those areas that is extremely important for our today.
In addition to the fact that the Internet allows you to find the necessary information, the network significantly expands the child's circle of communication. And this has become possible thanks to a variety of chats, social networks and other similar sites. Along with the benefits, such communication can hide a significant danger.
Juvenile police officers give advice to children on how not to get into unpleasant situations in the digital space:
- Do not open files unknown to you;
- Do not disclose confidential information about yourself;
- Do not send or post photos of yourself in your underwear or in the nude;
- Do not disclose your passwords from pages;
- Do not answer letters to a stranger;
- Do not give your location;
- Do not rush to send SMS messages;
- Do not meet strangers;
- Ask the adults.
