The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine wrote about this on her Facebook page.
In particular, Kateryna Pavlichenko told the First Deputy Secretary of State of the US State Department at the Bureau of International Affairs to Combat Illicit Drug Trafficking and Law Enforcement (INL) about the tasks performed by law enforcement agencies of Ukraine during the war, as well as the challenges they faced.
“The war has taught us to prepare for the worst scenarios. Therefore, we strengthen our capabilities to be prepared for the possible increase in crime, illegal trafficking of weapons and drugs, in particular at the border,” the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine wrote.
