Kateryna Pavlichenko: Driving school for people with disabilities in Dnipro will soon train for category C1
Kateryna Pavlichenko said that she was able to communicate with students and instructors of the driving school for people with disabilities at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.
Together with Rector Alexander Morgunov, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs inspected the infrastructure, conditions of study in the driving school and cars.
“We discussed improving the conditions for learning. In this matter, I see the sound management of the university leadership. I am grateful for the systematic approach to the work of the driving school,” said Kateryna Pavlichenko.
Also, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs informed about the planned next steps:
- installation of an electric lift for easier access to the shelter;
- re-equipment of two rooms for people with disabilities in the university hotel.
“As for the latter, it will greatly expand access to training. At the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, we understand that it is difficult for persons with disabilities who live, for example, in the region, to get to the driving school for every lesson. Therefore, such a decision should remove another barrier in the educational process,” summed up Ekaterina Pavlichenko.
