Category C1 for people with disabilities: the Ministry of Internal Affairs tests a pilot service (VIDEO)
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has launched a pilot service for people with disabilities. Testing of training services on category C1 vehicles started on the basis of the Driving School for people with disabilities in Dnipro.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs is studying the request for such a service, since appropriate training could give people with disabilities an additional opportunity for employment. For now, those interested can join the pilot.
The theoretical part of the preparation is 74 hours, the practical - 58.5 hours. At the Driving School, those who wish to practice on a specially equipped Ford Transit car with manual control will be carried out.
People with impaired musculoskeletal system, impaired hearing and vision functions, who have a valid medical certificate of the form No. 083/o on the date of submission of documents, can join the training.
To enter, you must fill out an application addressed to the head of the driving school and prepare:
- A copy of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine.
- A copy of the taxpayer's credit card.
- Medical certificate form No. 083/o.
- Photo card 3.5 x 4.5 cm in size.
