The government launched a new prize in the field of photographic art in honor of the deceased photographer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Mykola Anatsky
Relevant amendments were made to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 23.11.2016 N 841 “On prizes for achievements in the field of culture and art”. Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada, said that the list of prizes in the field of culture and art was supplemented by the position “Nikolay Anatsky Prize - in the field of photographic art”.

Nikolai was originally from Bakhmut, participated in ATO, was fond of photography. He had the nickname “Master”, because he skillfully owned everything - both weapons and a camera.
