The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a draft resolution “On amending certain resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the assignment of alphanumeric combination of license plates”
This document is aimed at bringing the acts of the Government into line with the amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Road Traffic” and the introduction of new services related to these changes.
Thus, with state registration of a car (at the request of the person), you will be given the right to choose a license plate (or its alphanumeric combination) with subsequent manufacture by specialized business entities.
It also introduces the possibility of booking license plates or their alphanumeric combination (at a cost of 9 UAH/day).
In addition, the cost of selecting the desired alphanumeric combination during registration (re-registration) of the vehicle is set (in the amount of 300 UAH, except for paid license plates).
The implementation of the act will provide additional flexibility and variability in the processes of providing applicants with administrative services related to the state registration (re-registration) of vehicles.
