Yevhenii Yenin: The enemy continues to terrorize the frontline territories — 30-50 shelling during the day
This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine today, August 07, on the air of the all-Ukrainian tele-marathon #UАразом.
“There have been 46 shelling this day, killing 16 people, and dozens more wounded. On the fly, Russians are primarily in Donetsk and Nikolaev regions. But it arrives powerfully in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya regions, a number of other regions of the country,” Yevhenii Yenin said.
Thus, Donetsk region has been shelled more than 3 thousand times, Luhansk region - 4 thousand, Mykolaiv region - 700 times. The whole country is in sight. The only area that the Russian missile has so far bypassed is Chernivtsi. In total, 12,000 shelling was recorded during the large-scale invasion: about 300 military facilities were hit, the remaining more than 20,000 civilians.
“The Russian missile does not fight with the military, but flies to kill peaceful Ukrainians, our nation, our future. The intention of the Russians to destroy us is indicated not only by the number of destroyed civilian objects, but also by the number of criminal proceedings registered by investigators on the facts of crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine by servicemen of Russia, Belarus and their accomplices. Currently, almost 26 such proceedings have been initiated,” the first deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs voiced frightening statistics.
He once again focused on the involvement of attacks and their consequences of saboteurs directing enemy fire, providing information on the location of military facilities, checkpoints and missile landing sites.
“Criminal police officers constantly take measures to counter sabotage, intelligence and terrorist groups. Usually, between 10 and 15 thousand suspicious individuals are checked every week. During the inspections, dozens of people are detected, which we transfer in the overwhelming majority to the SBU authorities for further clarification of the circumstances,” Yevhenii Yenin noted.
According to him, during 164 days of the war on the territory of the state, about a hundred DRG were exposed and more than 1600 people allegedly involved in sabotage activities were detained. Yevgeny Yenin noted that the henchmen of the Russians are betraying their country for a meager reward.
“Our citizens enter into cooperation with the Russians for some 5-10 thousand hryvnias. Betraying the state for $300 is almost like 30 pieces of silver. However, the activities of the police and the SBU to counteract these manifestations are quite effective. Step by step, in particular, and with the support of our international partners, we are identifying these traitors and further justice awaits them,” the First Deputy Minister stressed.
