First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhenii Yenin spoke about the current criminogenic situation on the air of the all-Ukrainian tele-marathon.

“We are beginning to see an increase in crime in certain areas. This is an increase of about 10% in the number of premeditated murders. We also see an increase in the level of carjackings, as well as crimes related to the illegal use of weapons,” Yevgeny Yenin said.

He added that people are starting to return to their homes and are seeing traces of robberies. “At the moment it is not fully clear whether these crimes were committed by the occupiers or during the period when there were no people. We record all statements and direct our efforts to uncover these crimes. We have already disclosed at least 4,000 out of 10,000 registered during the martial law,” Yevhenii Yenin said.
