The history of the Guard Infantry: from a gunner in Gostomel to an artilleryman near Bakhmut
This is a thunderstorm and fear for enemies, our gunner with the call sign Beautiful. He likes to send surprises to the occupiers at the most unexpected moments. Now he works in the Bakhmut direction.
At the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops, this artilleryman was still a gunslinger in his Brigade. After fighting near Kiev, Krasyvy dared to sign a contract and went to the east of Ukraine.
During the defense of Kiev, the young artilleryman was just beginning to master all the features of his profession in practice. The experience gained was useful to him already in the Donetsk region.
And this is his story.
My baptism was in Gostomel. Our task was to work out along the landing strip in the area of the airport “Antonov” in order to prevent the enemy from successfully landing his landing. Then there were different tasks. We destroyed the Russian columns, which went to Kiev almost in a parade march, struck at the enemy's clusters. At that time there was a lot of work, they worked 24 hours a day and did not allow the enemy to relax.

— Now, in the Bakhmut direction, it is actually much easier for me, because I already know how to implement my skills in different situations.
Air reconnaissance helps our artillery to destroy the enemy as efficiently as possible. With the help of UAVs, scouts identify targets and adjust fire.
— More recently, the Russian mortar calculation was destroyed. Personally, I like the fact that intelligence and headquarters interact well. The drones find targets, the headquarters processes them very quickly, and the last thing is behind us. With such a connection, you can quickly hit targets. We really annoy the enemy, very often they try to choke us. But the neighboring units help us and the enemy artillery falls silent for a certain time.
No wonder such hostilities are called “artillery warfare”. I think it is the side that has the artillery advantage and has highly qualified specialists that will occupy a more advantageous position throughout the front line. Although the enemy has more iron, in contrast we have the dedication to the cause, the cause and the spirit of our warriors.
We have to work here day and night, because I myself understand how our infantrymen are unhappy. Our task is to make their lives a little easier as possible. That's what motivates me. That by your actions you can save the lives of our guys, and inflict maximum damage on the enemy at the moment when he will not wait for it.
