Spanish dog experts establish cooperation with colleagues from border units in Lviv region
Recently there was a visit of expert dog trainers of the Kingdom of Spain to the border units of the western border.
The foreign delegation was acquainted with the activities and infrastructure of the border units, as well as demonstrated the training and material base and methods of training dog breeders with service dogs.
Spanish dog breeders were able to get acquainted with the practical training of service dogs of the Ukrainian Border Agency, the procedure for attracting dog handlers and service dogs at checkpoints and outside checkpoints.
In turn, the guests shared with their Ukrainian colleagues their knowledge and experience in the field of training and effective involvement of dog handlers with service dogs.
Separately, the issues of needs for updating and reconstruction of the training and material and technical base of canine units were considered.
It is worth noting that European colleagues came to Ukraine to further establish cooperation and exchange of experience with border guards, dog breeders, which significantly improves the quality of staff training and the development of the canine component of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
