Over the past day, the Mukacheve detachment's border guards exposed two Kiwis at checkpoints on the border with Romania and Hungary. The men tried to leave Ukraine with fake documents.

A 28-year-old resident of the capital tried to illegally leave the country across the Ukrainian-Romanian border. Arriving at the checkpoint “Solotvino” with her 49-year-old mother, as a reason for going abroad, the Kiev resident provided a package of documents about her disability.

However, during the inspection of the submitted documents, the border guards found that they were completely falsified and were not issued by authorized bodies. The bearer himself admitted that he purchased fake documents from dealers, paying 10 thousand dollars for their services.

Another attempt to illegally cross the border was stopped at the Kosino checkpoint. A 48-year-old Kyiv resident tried to get to Hungary on the basis of a forged certificate from the military medical commission and a temporary certificate of a conscript.

On the presence of signs of a crime in the actions of Ukrainians, provided for in Art. 358 Criminal Code “Forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps”, border guards sent a message to the National Police in the Transcarpathian region.

Currently, Mukachevo Border Detachment operatives are establishing a circle of persons involved in these offenses.
