Instructors of the Vasily Embroidered Training Center of the National Guard of Ukraine conducted field classes with canine twos
During the field expedition, the teachers of the Training Center worked out with dog breeders and their tailed partners the basic basics of search work in the open area, orientation in the forest, organization and arrangement of temporary positions.
The main focus was on creating optimal conditions for the four-legged partner to stay and successfully complete the task.
“In the context of an active war, where tails have already managed to prove themselves as reliable detectors when searching for dangerous objects, prohibited substances and people who either got lost or found themselves under rubble as a result of enemy terrorist actions, we understand that our skills and abilities need to be expanded and adapted to work in the field,” says Major Vladislav Dushko, the head of the cyclic commission of canine disciplines.
According to him, that is why the dog trainers of the National Guard adapt to the realities of the present and improve the work in different conditions, whether on the block post or in the field.
No one knows what challenges the enemy is preparing for us, but we know for sure that our dog trainers are ready to meet all difficulties wherever they are and what tasks they would not perform.
