The beginning of 2022 has been a real test not only for law enforcement agencies that immediately respond to all such messages, but also for students, parents and teaching teams of educational institutions. Since the beginning of 2022 alone, 339 reports of mining have been received, of which 306 have been received by email, 27 by phone and 6 by personal or postal mail. And this is half of all such messages received for the whole of 2021.

We emphasize. Law enforcement responded to all reports of mines. We checked — 3 183 objects. Despite the fact that none of these reports has ever been true, the police authorities respond to each information and, together with the relevant administrations, carry out a check.

Today we can confidently state: a series of pseudo-replacements is nothing more than an element of hybrid aggression and a planned information operation. The purpose of this information terrorism is to keep Ukrainians in tension and instill uncertainty about their own security, and to make this not so much a terrorist act as a possibility that something like this could happen. Therefore, the main thing is to remain calm.

In addition, we know that false reports of mining come from the temporarily uncontrolled territory of Ukraine or from the Russian Federation. We note that knowingly false reporting of a threat to the safety of citizens, destruction or damage to property objects in accordance with Article 259 of the Criminal Code is punishable by imprisonment for a term of two to five years seven years.

And the last one. We emphasize that all reports of mining turned out to be false. We ask you, especially parents of schoolchildren, not to give in to provocations and to remain calm.
