Igor Klymenko met with Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland Marcin Kerwinski

Today, March 28, the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is on a working visit to Poland. Igor Klymenko has already met with the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland Marcin Kerwinski.

“We discussed important security issues and identified priority vectors of cooperation, in particular on cooperation in the field of war crimes investigation and countering organized crime that knows no borders. The relevant Intergovernmental Agreement was actively worked out by our departments and services. I am glad to announce that thanks to fruitful work and mutual understanding, we have already reached the final stage of readiness for signing,” the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine wrote in his official Telegram channel.

The parties also discussed the migration issue:

“Thank you for the support and support of our people. According to official UN statistics, more than 1.6 million Ukrainians are registered in Poland as persons receiving temporary protection. It is important to us that the protection of their rights is guaranteed. We agreed on the constant exchange of information on the status of Ukrainians who are in the territory of the Republic of Poland.”
