Igor Klymenko: Call of emergency services by number 112 is already available in Lviv region, Vinnytsia region, Zhytomyr region, Cherkasy region and Chernihiv region
This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in his official Telegram channel.
From now on, citizens who are in Lviv region, Vinnytsia region, Zhytomyr region, Cherkasy region and Chernihiv region will be able to call all emergency services using a single number - 112. This makes it possible to significantly speed up the process of connecting with the emergency service and strengthens communication between departments.
Service operators speak English, Polish, Czech and Turkish.
“Next year we plan to launch 112 in Dnipro and Odessa. And it will be possible to call rescuers, policemen, doctors or gas service workers by a single number from any region of Ukraine,” said the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
As you know, the opening of the first communication center of Service 112 in Kyiv took place with the participation of the President of Ukraine in July this year. During this time, operators received almost 350 thousand calls.
