Ihor Klymenko held a meeting with the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Finland
Ihor Klymenko had a meaningful conversation with Mari Rantanen, the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Finland. He expressed his gratitude for the country’s co-leadership in the implementation of the Peace Formula, fruitful cooperation within the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, and strengthening the capacities of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In particular, the rescuers received special vehicles and armoured shelter containers, used by the groups during long-term emergency response in dangerous areas.
Furthermore, the issues of combating organised crime, ensuring border security, and implementing migration policy remain topical.
The parties have also agreed to cooperate in the areas of psychosocial support and development of adaptive sports for wounded soldiers.
“It is vital that partners respond quickly to requests and provide timely assistance. Finland is exactly such a friend for us. I would like to express my sincere hope for further effective cooperation”, – noted Ihor Klymenko.
