Igor Klymenko held an on-site meeting with rectors of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
Within the framework of a working trip to Lviv, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko held a meeting with rectors of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the basis of Lviv State University of Life Safety.
Also at the meeting was attended by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk, Acting Deputy Director. Chairman of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Andriy Danyk, Director of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Tarasenko and rectors of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The main topics of the meeting were the opening of military-patriotic lyceums under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the improvement of the work of universities in accordance with the current conditions.
“From next school year we plan to open military-patriotic lyceums. First of all, children of dead employees or servicemen of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be trained there, as well as children of deceased soldiers of the Armed Forces,” the Minister of Internal Affairs said.
Igor Klymenko noted that the main goal of these lyceums is to educate motivated youth.
Also, the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine discussed with the rectors of higher educational institutions the issues of improving the educational process:
“The Institute of Innovation should open at every educational institution. You need to gather such students who will compete with each other for results. It is not about the thesis, but about the use of modern technologies.”
In turn, the rectors of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported to Igor Klymenka about their work and the practical component of education in higher education institutions.
In addition, the Minister of Internal Affairs inspected the training classrooms of Lviv State University of Life Safety, where cadets of the university practice work during emergency situations. We are talking about eliminating the consequences of shelling, traffic accidents, dismantling of blockages, destruction of explosive objects and so on.
Also Igor Klymenko got acquainted with the conditions in which cadets live, visited the shelter, which is fully equipped for training during air alarms.
“We will continue to work to make it comfortable for you to study and serve the state in the future,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine addressed the cadets.
