Igor Klymenko presented to the People's Deputies of Ukraine the Center for Strategic Analysis and Forecasting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Service 112
Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko told MPs — members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Law Enforcement Activities about the work of the “Safe Country” analytical center and the single integration platform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, which includes video surveillance system.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the Center, in particular, analyzes the situation at the border, monitors data on shelling, crimes, fires, demining, examines the information of the migration service. In addition, the situation at Zaporizhzhya NPP is monitored, the radiation status is monitored and the possible development of the situation is predicted.
Also, MPs got acquainted with the work of Service 112, which began work two weeks ago. Igor Klymenko spoke about the advantages of the implementation of the Unified Call System for all emergency services during emergency situations. The 112 communication center already serves the city of Kiev, by the end of 2024 the Service will work in all regions of Ukraine.
In addition, during the meeting of the Minister of Internal Affairs with members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Law Enforcement Activities, a working meeting was held, which was attended by
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Alexey Sergeev, Leonid Tymchenko, Vasily Teteria, Bogdan Drapyaty and Kateryri Pavlichenko, as well as t.v.o. The head of the National Police of Ukraine Ivan Vyhivsky, the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Oleksandr Pivnenko.
During the meeting, Igor Klymenko informed the attendees about the projects of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that have already begun to be implemented - optimization of the work of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, introduction of the Unified Register of Weapons, launch of Service 112.
In turn, MPs reported that on July 13, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law that allows you to independently study the theory before obtaining a driver's license.
According to Igor Klymenko, one of the tasks for the Ministry of Internal Affairs is the formation of a safe environment in society.
“Before us, as citizens of Ukraine, as people who are part of the system of power, we have a great responsibility. Therefore, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has prepared a draft law on the safe environment after the war. In parallel, we are working on projects that will concern specific areas: demining, weapons, video surveillance. The team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is working to ensure that our people live safely after the end of the war,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
