This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko on the live TV marathon “Yedeni Novosti”, comparing the criminogenic situation with the pre-war 2021 year. At the same time, the number of property crimes (theft, robbery, robbery), the minister added, decreased by 40%.

“Of course some categories of crime — such as carjacking — have increased. Because the enemy stood here and took our cars away. We have an increase in the number of killings because we have recorded a lot of civilian killings by the enemy. And fraud has increased in our country, but here we have also increased the disclosure of all crimes,” the minister stressed.

In general, the head of the department summarized, the criminogenic situation in the state is controlled, and the bodies and departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine work in the usual mode.
