Igor Klymenko: after the end of the war, the fighters of the “Guard of the Offensive” will provide stabilization measures in the de-occupied territories
In the national tele-marathon “United News” in the final interview for 2023, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko said that now all 9 formed assault brigades of the “Guard of Offensive” are located in the eastern and southern directions of the front, performing combat tasks as part of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The Minister of Internal Affairs noted that after the end of the war, national guards, border guards and policemen from the brigades of the “Guard of the Offensive” will be able to work and carry out stabilization measures in the territories liberated from the Russian occupation.
“10,000 police officers, border guards, National Guard fighters will be able to ensure the formation of Ukrainian authorities in the de-occupied territories. In particular, the soldiers of the State Border Guard Service will stand on the borders of our state and guard the borders,” Igor Klymenko stressed.
