Igor Klymenko: The main focuses of the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the East are the security of citizens, the liquidation of the occupiers and the documentation of war crimes
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on his Facebook page said that he held operational meetings with the leadership of the National Police of the Regions and the Eastern Territorial Department of the National Guard. He also awarded the best employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, who serve in the hottest areas of the front.
Awards were received by National Guardsmen, rescuers, policemen and border guards. Boys and girls serve in the hottest areas of the front. And carry it with dignity and honor.
Among them:
- Azovstal's defender, operative Svyatoslav Yermonov, who spent 5 months in Russian captivity, and after returning home and rehabilitation he again became fit;
- special agents of the KORD, who, together with the military and the “White Angels”, carry out real special operations to evacuate civilians from the line of battle;
- national guard - officer of the 5th Slobozhan Brigade Vladimir Sinitsky, who with his brothers defended the direction of Prysheba, then took Balakliya, went all the way beyond the Estuary. Then he fought at Kreminna. In December, he received a shrapnel wound. Came from an enemy tank.
The Minister also awarded the soldiers of the battalion “Luhansk-1” named after the Hero of Ukraine Sergey Gubanov. The volunteer unit was actively trained in defensive and offensive operations in the native Luhansk region and in the Kharkiv region. They are currently part of the assault brigade “Fury” and are preparing to liberate their home towns.
The soldiers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Ruslan Mazur and Maksym Rashevsky, who saved the lives of their comrades under the fierce fire of the enemy, also received honors. Captain Mazur was wounded during the engagement, but ensured his group's retreat to safety.
It is important to see the eyes of invulnerable people who risk their lives every day in the hottest spots. Many of our heroes have lost their homes, their families, but continue to faithfully serve, confront the enemy and save citizens.
In the interaction of all services, in constant coordination, we will knock the enemy out of our land. And we will ensure security in the liberated territories.
