“Dare to save lives. Every day and every minute, without any hesitation. There are no random people in the ranks of the SNS, because this is the vocation and choice of everyone who is ready to come to the aid of people in distress. Eliminating the consequences of enemy shelling, extinguishing fires, dismantling debris, demining Ukrainian territories — all this is only part of the daily titanic work of rescuers. A complex and risky path unites people with heroic deeds and confrontations. And every successfully overcome challenge has the most valuable reward — lives saved,” the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko wrote in his Telegram channel.

Emergency responders have rescued more than 11,600 people since the start of a full-scale war, including:

  • 5357 recovered from under the rubble of buildings destroyed by the enemy;
  • 3009 rescued from domestic fires;
  • 2112 - at mining facilities;
  • 564 - in the mountains;
  • 476 - on water bodies;
  • 141 - during the liquidation of emergencies.

“Today I thank you first and foremost for the thousands of lives saved. And for the security that you return to people,” said Igor Klymenko.

Happy Saviour's Day!

Glory to our heroes without weapons!
