Igor Klymenko: At the sites of the missile debris in Kyiv, the psychologists of the State Emergency Service work continuously
In his official Telegram channel, the Minister of Internal Affairs said that about 50 residents of the capital had already turned to psychologists for help, who needed emotional support after the next attack of the Russian Federation.
“Nervous tremors, hysterics and crying, which are signs of an acute reaction to stress — it was in this state that people who were directly at the epicenter of the fall of the rocket debris were in. Our specialists work individually with everyone, providing not only psychological support, but also practical recommendations for overcoming emotional difficulties,” the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine wrote.
Igor Klymenko noted that psychologists are directly at the scene of the incident, because people should promptly receive full assistance during the stress experienced.
Today's work of SNS psychologists at the scene of the next attack is one of the areas within the mental health project “HOW ARE YOU?” First Lady Elena Zelenskaya. The main goal of which is to make psychological assistance more accessible to every Ukrainian.
