Igor Klymenko: the Ministry of Internal Affairs proposes to establish responsibility for institutions that violate the curfew
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs together with the people's deputies prepared a project, it will be sent to the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on law enforcement activities tomorrow. Amendments are being made to the Code on Administrative Offenses regarding the responsibility of the head of the business entity, individual entrepreneurs for work during curfew,” the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko said on the air of the all-Ukrainian television marathon “United News”.
The draft law provides for supplementing the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses with a new article 210-2, establishing administrative responsibility for violations by an entity of special light masking or operating regime established in the relevant territory during martial law.
Responsibility is proposed in the form of imposing a fine on the head of the business entity, an individual entrepreneur in the form of a fine from UAH 34,000 to UAH 170,000.
Repeated offense within one year from the date of imposition of the previous one — a fine from 340 000 UAH. to 680 000 UAH.
“We invite lawmakers to consider our proposals and establish fines for the work of such institutions. I emphasize that this will concern the administrative punishment of the owners of business entities and individual entrepreneurs. I think that in the near future the Verkhovna Rada will consider such proposals,” the Minister added.
