Igor Klymenko: The Ministry of Internal Affairs fully implemented 112 service in Kyiv — the single number for all emergencies
This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in his official Telegram.
Igor Klymenko said that the 112 communication center already processes incoming information and covers the capital. Operators receive calls from citizens. Further, requests are directed to the necessary departments, which respond accordingly.
“It is important that there are operators who speak sign language, who can communicate with applicants via video call. To do this, you need to send an SMS message to 112 and wait for a link to the connection,” he wrote.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the next step is to scale 112 first in all million-dollar cities, and then - to the entire territory of the state.
