Igor Klymenko: We are preparing for any actions of the enemy in the heating season
“First of all, we will do everything we can to ensure the safety of citizens. We are preparing for any actions of the enemy, especially since we all learned last year to respond to such challenges,” the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko said on the air of the All-Ukrainian TV Marathon “United News”.
The Ministry of the Interior has established a Coordination Headquarters for the operational response and ensuring the creation of normal living conditions of the population during the restriction and/or termination of the supply of electrical energy. It included representatives of all major ministries and departments.
“This headquarters works around the clock. Accordingly, at the moment there are the same headquarters in all regions of our state, law enforcement officers, employees of the State Emergency Service, military personnel of the Ministry of Energy and Health, etc., work there. Therefore, the algorithms are all written out, we receive information online. We will react quickly enough to any change in the operational situation,” the Minister said.
In exceptional cases, the number of patrols of the National Police will immediately be increased - at least by one and a half times. The units of the State Emergency Service must arrive on time and help our citizens not only to eliminate the emergency, but also to connect generators and provide maximum assistance.
In addition, Igor Klymenko said that 13 thousand “Points of Inviolability” have been deployed on the territory of our state. The Ministry of the Interior also deployed 2,000 such items. We also have help from our international partners - these are 2000 generators that we can apply and help our people if necessary.
