Igor Klymenko: Every Ukrainian needs only Victory today

This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine during the ceremony of awarding employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with state awards and departmental honors on the Constitution Day of Ukraine.

In honor of the Constitution Day of Ukraine, the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko presented state awards to the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including representatives of the State Border Service, the National Police, the State Emergency Service, the National Guard of Ukraine, the institutions of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the scientific and production association “Fort” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

At the beginning of the award ceremony, the participants jointly performed the National Anthem of Ukraine and honored the memory of the dead with a minute of silence.

Thus, for the demonstrated personal courage and courage, steadfastness and determination in the performance of military and official duty in conditions associated with the risk to life during measures to ensure national security and defense, repulse and deter armed aggression of the Russian Federation, Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko presented to the employees of the system Ministry of Internal Affairs orders of Bogdan Khmelnytsky II and III degrees, “For Courage” II and III degrees, Danylo Halytsky Order, medals “For Military Service to Ukraine”, breastplates “For Courage in Service, “For Honor in Service” and “For the Safety of the People”.

In a congratulatory speech, Igor Klymenko said that every employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs makes every effort every day at the cost of his own life and self-sacrifice, defending the rights and freedoms of citizens.

“Today, a significant date is the Constitution Day of Ukraine. And with this document we affirm our rights and freedoms. We clearly understand what freedom is. Every Ukrainian today needs only Victory. And we must ensure such security on the European continent so that our eastern “neighbor”, having received a scratch, will never occupy us again,” said Igor Klymenko.

The Minister of Internal Affairs stressed that the war continues and the Ukrainian military continues to fight back against the Russian aggressor. Igor Klymenko noted that along with the defenders are military medics who rescue fighters on the battlefield, and the rescuers of the State Emergency Service, who quickly eliminate the consequences of Russian attacks, and police officers who document enemy war crimes and carry out evacuation measures.

“We still have a lot of turbulent times ahead. Every day we have the bombing of a large number of settlements where civilians are killed. Just after yesterday's attack by the Russian Federation in Kramatorsk, 10 people were killed, including three children. Therefore, we have to document all the crimes of the enemy so that everyone, from the head of the aggressor state to his henchmen, is on the bench of the defendants,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko.
