Igor Klymenko: Controllability and protection of our employees is a condition for effective operation of the entire system
Thus, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko reacted to the operational actions of the police to liquidate the underground workshop for large-scale production of forged documents.
As you know, the President of Ukraine recently signed a Decree, according to which the sphere of responsibility of the Department of Internal Security will be extended to other central executive bodies that are part of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In particular, higher education institutions, the Main Service Center, the State Migration Service, the State Emergency Service, and there are already the first results.
Internal security of the National Police worked quickly — all nine members of the criminal group were detained. The defendants are civilians, only one of them had previously worked in the police.
Dealers produced fake driver's licenses, technical passports, residence permits and passports of Ukrainian citizens. Such “services” cost from 8000 to 14,000 hryvnias. For a week, the attackers earned up to 2 million hryvnias on this.
“As practice shows, increased control over personnel and detection of criminals who discredit the work of units is necessary not only in the National Police. The control and protection of our employees is a condition for the effective operation of the entire system,” the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs wrote.
