Igor Klymenko: Congress is an effective platform that allows to determine a common vector of movement for solving key security issues
In his official Telegram channel, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine spoke about preparations for the Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine.
Igor Klymenko noted that three meetings of the “Security Policy” commission have already been held within the framework of the preparation of the Road Map of Good Governance in Martial Conditions.
“The issues we focus on are: protecting public spaces and educational environments, unhindered access for citizens to shelters, modernizing the threat alert system, building a system of volunteer fire wives and safety centers, scaling up the Community Police Officer project, as well as work on legislative initiatives. We are working to improve the security situation in the country even in the face of a full-scale war. Our priority is unchanged — the protection of our citizens,” Ihor Klymenko wrote.
