Igor Bondarenko: Active actions are being carried out to strengthen the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the border with the Republic of Belarus
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Bondarenko inspected the section of the state border with the Republic of Belarus. During the visit, the readiness of the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system to repel a potentially possible aggression from the territory of the Republic of Moldova was checked.
“The Minister of Internal Affairs determines and constantly implements the task of promptly clarifying at the places of deployment the needs of the relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system and their immediate solution. This is the main purpose of our work trips — to study the situation on the ground and clarify the needs,” said Igor Bondarenko.
Currently, the State Border Service is conducting active actions on the construction of fortifications, structural units are reinforced with a fire component, which significantly strengthens our defense lines.
“We continue to increase our capabilities to repel a possible attack by the enemy from Belarus. In conjunction with the Armed Forces, the National Police, the National Guard, we carry out measures to cooperate with the structural units of the State Police for the effectiveness of actions in case of a threat. Border guards make every effort to ensure that our country is protected from the border,” said the Deputy Head of the State Border Service of Ukraine Major General Sergiy Serdyuk.
