ID is simple: registration of the first passport of a citizen of Ukraine
IMPORTANT:
- ID card at 14 years old is issued free of charge;
- ID-14 service allows you to issue an identification code simultaneously with your passport;
- You can issue a passport in any department of the State Migration Service, regardless of the place of registration.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
- birth certificate; - originals of passports of parents (or one of them);
- certificate of registered place of residence.
In some cases (if at the time of the birth of the child one or both parents were foreign citizens), a certificate of citizenship is required.
Steps on the way to obtaining the document:
1. Subscribe online to the electronic queue or using the DMS chatbot in Viber/Telegram. If it is more convenient offline, you can visit the State Migration Service and take a ticket in the current queue “today for today” or for the 35th day, if the past 34 are busy (choosing a convenient time).
2. Bring the necessary documents to the DMS center.
3. After 20 working days, pick up your first passport.
REMEMBER: the transliteration of the surname and first name is formed automatically, so we advise you to check the future spelling in advance on the DMS e-service.
